Sounds Great! But what aren't you telling me?
Nothing. Is there a catch? Not really...but we will tell you something that other sites won't. One of the big selling points of other sites is that Agents and Casting Directors can search through the talent database. Technically, this is true, but it is not pragmatic. Although small agencies and private producers do look for talent online occassionally, most agencies and casting directors are overrun with talent from other sources. They don't need to search for talent online. However, this has no effect on ActorPlace's main reason for posting online:
Effective use of an outstanding Marketing Tool.
